A Message From The Mayor: Folsom Patrons of the Arts helps build awareness for art that originates in Folsom and the talented Folsom artists that create it. Folsom Patrons of the Arts increases the opportunity for our community to participate in the creation of art, and to experience art through events such as the Folsom Gourd and Arts Festival and Folsom Focus photography competition. Folsom Patrons of the Arts encourages and assists tomorrow’s Folsom artists through the Folsom Patrons of the Arts Scholarship that is awarded to a talented local high school student that plans to pursue a career in the arts. 			Folsom Patrons of the Arts is a nonprofit public benefit organization that facilitates and encourages members of the community to become involved in the development of the arts and cultural programs in the Folsom California area.  The Folsom Patrons of the Arts was founded in 1999 and incorporated in 2000. The Folsom Patrons of the Arts corporation is exempt from Federal income tax under section 501(a) of the Internal Revenue Code as an organization described in section 501 (c) (3) and exempt from CA State franchise tax under the section of the CA Revenue and Taxation Code 23701d.
